Match decision complexity to student readiness
More decisions do not automatically produce more learning. Every additional input creates another concept to teach, another source of accidental error, and another explanation students must disentangle after the Round. Introductory students may learn more from price and production first, followed by marketing and quality later, than from receiving a complete income statement, financing menu, product portfolio, and capacity model on day one.
Inspect when decisions appear as well as how many exist. Progressive disclosure can preserve strategic depth without overwhelming a first run. For an advanced class, the reverse problem matters. A simulation may be too narrow if students cannot make the financing, entry, sourcing, or portfolio tradeoffs named in the syllabus.

Then test the most telling question. Could you use the available evidence to explain a surprising result without contacting support? If not, the simulation may create discussion, but it will not reliably support disciplined debriefing.
Rehearse the complete classroom workflow
Instructor usability is not a cosmetic concern. A slow or ambiguous control flow can consume the minutes reserved for analysis. Rehearse the workflow from a clean account.

Make the final decision with a teaching rehearsal
